This is harder than I thought....

So, although I have taken a picture almost every day, finding the time to up load them has proven to not be my strong point. So, one day I will fill in the gap, but until then I have activated mobile up loading so maybe this will help.

Chariot Drivers Boredom During The Babies Doc Visit

Nothing much to take pictures of today, I gave Sonja and the kids a ride to their doctors appointment. It was a dreary day with fussy babies. But in this tree there were several really tiny birds and a little wood pecker that we cant see in this picture due to the crappy camera in my phone, they kinda kept me entertained while waiting.

Bathing Babies!!

Payton and I went to our friend Sonja's house, I gave her a break and bathed her oldest kid Lilly. I have no idea why they have surprised looks on their faces but it makes for a super cute picture! Payton and Lilly are such good friends, I love spending time with all of them! And yes I censored the pic, although nothing could be seen in the first place, you can never be too careful.

Still have snow, although it is so warm today I do not feel the need for a jacket. This is our other side yard and basement porch.

I got a new SD card for my camera so it is back in use, and is fast enough to take pictures of the jumpy rats that do not appreciate their picture being taken.

Spending Time On The 365

So, I just spent the last 4 hours up loading and editing pictures that had been taken over the last week, then posting them all to my 365 that I had not updated since the 6th. I had not posted because I had a house full of people, and that would just be rude. So, for today I am posting these.

Snow, Ice, Whatever, I Have Low Standards.

So, everyone was able to leave today and get home safe. This was my attempt at a snow man, but the snow had already gotten icy and uncooperative...I know I suck. Had a great time!

Snowed In

Snowed in with my favorite people was really fun, but nothing much to take pictures of. We enjoyed playing with babies and watching BAD PG movies.

Snow and Fire!!!

Today was an absolute BLAST!! My friends and I expecting the Snow-Apocalypse had planed on burning all of our Christmas trees that evening. Waiting for Matt to get off of work at 11pm for the festivities to begin. Sonja and family were the first to arrive and Sonja and I went to the store, collecting another tree from some cute guy in the parking lot. On the way home found another one dumped on the side of the road, we were up to 6. As the evening went on, Pip 'n Jen and her brother Matt, and Scott and Taureen, arrived. Around 10ish it was time, and no, the cops never arrived but about 6 inches of snow did.

Trees to Burn

I am on a mission to collect tress to burn next weekend. I got Amelia's tree and found another one in the recycling bin at her apartment, so that makes 4 trees. Yipee!!

Hanging Out at Amelia's House

Payton and I spent the night at Amelia's house, and all I brought for Payton to sleep in was long sleeved and he got too hot. Luckily, Amelia wears tiny clothing and let Payton wear her Flogging Molly shirt.

First, let me explain, I know how people tend to feel about rats. But having worked in pet stores for so much of my life I know that there is a particular breed of rat that has the personality of a fat cat. It is called a Dumbo rat, because they have very large ears. The males are very prone to becoming fat puddles of cuddliness. So, today I was on the hunt for 2 young male Dumbo rats as Payton's first pets....this did not work out as planed. I ended up with 2 female Dumbo rats and 1 male Dumbo mutt that consists of 2 other breeds of rat, hairless and Rex. So, basically he has sparse peach-fuzz hair and curly whiskers and huge ears...I think that he is SUPER cute but then again I am often called strange. He is the blurry thing in the center of the picture. Ultimately, in about 20 days assuming that the girls were not already pregnant, I will be the proud owner of about 20 rats. I will pick the cutest males and will get rid of the rest.

Payton thinks they are super cool, but explaining that his fingers look like peanuts and the rats want to eat them if he puts them through the bars is kinda difficult.  I really wanted to let him hold them but they were very distracted with their new found love lives. I fed them some Cheerios and Payton insisted on eating Cheerios with them, so we all had Cheerios for lunch...kinda cute.

Oh, and for those of you still questioning my choice for first pet, let me add that yes a guinea pig might have been a better choice, but I am allergic to them, that and they are twice as stinky and messy. And hamsters are evil and gerbils are super fast. His next pet will be a bearded dragon, in a few years.

Day Two, Post Office And Play Ground

  

 Yep, I know it is January, and yes those are Christmas cards, we are aware that we suck. But look at all those cards!! We were just SO busy, better late than never I guess.

 In return for Payton being reasonably well behaved at the post office, we went to the park and enjoyed a not so bitterly cold day

When we got home Payton took a nap.

Day One, Happy New Year!

This year I am starting off with a clean house, filled with good friends and good times. I had a little get together with a few of my favorite people to welcome in the new year. In addition, I received Adobe Photoshop for Christmas and will be experimenting with it a lot, SO excited. But do not expect good work for at least the first few weeks. :-)
